JAMAICA

HERhealthEQ partnered with Esaote North America to secure the donation of an ultrasound machine. As of 2019 the hospital is conducting an average of 2000 deliveries/year, with 105 OBGYN and 19 non-OB ultrasounds conducted in 2019 alone. The Hospital is now assisting 20 external healthcare centers, assisting women planning to have home births with prenatal screening on the Ultrasound donated by HERhealthEQ. HERhealthEQ also facilitated the donation of a fetal monitor to the same healthcare system.

Over 5,000 women have been impacted by this donation.

USA

In the Spring of 2021, HERhealthEQ partnered with Plan A Health, an organization based in rural Mississippi, United States. The object of this partnership was to deploy a Lutech Fetal Monitor, allowing healthcare teams to measure maternal health in both a  mobile and fixed clinic setting. This deployment focused on delivering access in our home country, specifically for women who are either uninsured or underinsured. A top value for HERhealthEQ programs is to ensure income does not harbor a woman from accessing the necessary care, especially when it comes to the health of herself and her child. This project was a one time deployment and did not require additional fundraising, Lutech was able to donate the device, with HERhealthEQ facilitating shipping and logistics, as well as the service contract on the equipment.
