Medical Supplies

HERhealthEQ recently donated 3 boxes of medical supplies to help the relief efforts in Ukraine.

As of June 2022, 4,500 Ukrainian civilians have been killed in the ongoing war with Russia. Extending beyond our mission to fight NCDs, HERhealthEQ thought it important to contribute to the relief efforts for women in Ukraine. HERhealthEQ Board Member Ana-Maria Vișoiu connected us with Marta Dropa of Association Lyon-Ukraine. With this connection, we were able to make contact with Ukraine and partner with Henry Schein and UPS to deliver $2,500 worth of medical supplies.

These supplies have been received by combat medics in the main hospital of Kharkiv and have impacted 500 patients.

Medical supplies

HERhealthEQ partners with Advocates for World Health to deploy excess medical supplies and equipment that are unrelated to our focus in women’s NCDs. These medical devices were donated to HERhealthEQ through Henry Schein and are now distributed globally.

This partnership has resulted in the deployment of 4 devices for an estimated impact of 1,900 women.
