HERhealthEQ projects have facilitated the donation of 9 pieces of equipment, impacting 19K+ women to date.
We not only provide women around the world access to EQuipment they need to live healthy and productive lives, but also invest in training, long-term relationships and work opportunities that will drive health equity in the communities for years to come. The goal of each program is to procure, deliver, install, and track the equipment donated to decrease the late diagnosis and mortality associated with the incidence of top health issues by a factor of 40-50% per recipient hospital region.
Current programs include a 30-system breast cancer self-screening app and thermal screening program, beginning in northern India, in partnership with Jhpiego. We also plan to initiate programs in Kenya and Mexico in 2021 and beyond.
